As part or our continued expansion plan in 2017 we have a number of vacancies across the business for the following;


New Business Development Executive

This is a challenging position ideal for a responsible person seeking to help drive growth within a well-established IT company by supporting the marketing and sales effort, and who is ultimately aiming to move up into a customer facing sales role within 6 – 12 months.

The candidate should be confident and articulate on the phone and in person, capable of learning new concepts related to IT solutions, willing to dig into research on prospects, and eager to set, meet, and report on goals related to lead generation.

While the candidate will be given specific goals and held accountable for reporting their successes/failures, they will also have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing improvement of lead-gen tactics. An entrepreneurial and self-motivated individual will thrive!

As well as new business lead generation, there will also be an element of existing customer account management with the objective to create upsell opportunities.

Direct experience in inside sales, telemarketing, and/or marketing is a plus. The candidate will be expected to learn and use the marketing automation and CRM tools available to support lead generation work. The position will support the Strategic Development Manager.

As a New Business Development Executive you will be an integral part of our team.

Required skills:

  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Confident in Making outbound calls (Core requirement)
  • Professional and self-motivated attitude
  • Desire to move into a field based IT sales role
  • Ability and desire to excel at prospecting using a combination of new and tried techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, and team player
  • Experience in telemarketing and/or lead generation/qualification is a plus

Key responsibilities:

  • Generate qualified leads and appointments for the sales team
  • Qualify inbound warm sales leads
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of the company’s products and services, industry and client needs.
  • Increase sales pipeline through lead generation efforts
  • Attendance at business networking / expo events to expand company presence and generate opportunities
  • Keeping up to date on market trends and new technologies;
  • The successful candidate will possess the following key skills:
  • Previous sales and/ or lead generation experience (desirable, but not essential);
  • Understanding of IT managed services and security solutions (desirable, but not essential)
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills;
  • An interest in technology
  • Ambition and able to use initiative;
  • Target driven with a hunger to succeed;
  • Tenacious and able to capture the attention of a customer over the phone

The successful candidate will possess the following key skills:
